You take part in the whole Transhumance from Tusheti to the winter pastures located close to Tbilisi in the amazing desert area at the border with Azerbaijan. This unique experience of 25 days brings you through 3 ecosystems from the Great Caucasus Mountains to the semi desert, the vineyards of the Alazani valley and the Gombori mountains, another beautiful mountains range. We start from the incredible Tusheti region when it is already time to go down from the mountains. We enjoy the rich colours and lights of autumn which give a special atmosphere to the mountains. Only a few persons will stay there for the winter time. After a horseback trip in the heart of the Tusheti National Park offering outstanding sceneries and beautiful secluded villages we gather the horses and drive them down to the valley during 2 days. Then we will start our crossing through the eastern Georgia and discover some very different landscapes. Though the conditions of the transhumance are hard, (please have a look to the details), it remains an unique experience. This ride takes place once a year.
