An absolutely incredible experience in the mountains and villages of the Tusheti region! The horses were SO sure footed and fit – I couldn’t believe how strong and calm they were for all of the days we were riding. The scenery was stunning, the local history and abandoned villages were so interesting and it really was a joy to be “off grid” for so much of the time. Audrey Bogini was really helpful and friendly and organised so much to make the trip really memorable.

You definitely need to be fit and used to mountains to make the most of it but it’s totally worth it!

Did the semi desert – monastery trail ride last april. What an amazing trail!!

I simply loved everything about it! It was diverse, adventurous, challenging, fun, relaxing and beautiful. I still reminisce every day since! The horses are so well taken care of and they are so strong. You see and feel that they enjoy the ride as well which is wonderful. The food was amazing too. I really didn’t expect that.

Our guide, Audrey, is the most inspiring woman I have met in a long time. She’s rock solid, even in stressful situations. She knows so much about Georgia and is willing to share her knowledge. I did quite a lot of rides and never has a guide been so informative about the landscape, the culture, the architecture etc.. I really feel like I have lived in Georgia for a bit, not just visited ♡

Septembre 2025 Un immense merci à Audrey, notre guide, passionnée et passionnante : elle connaît l’histoire de la Touchétie sur le bout des doigts et la transmet avec une énergie communicative.

Les paysages sont absolument grandioses, entre montagnes, vallées et villages authentiques. L’accueil dans les guesthouses était top, chaleureux, et les repas… de véritables festins partagés dans la bonne humeur et toujours accompagnés de vin maison! 🍷🍲
Ce fut un réel plaisir de découvrir cette région avec des chevaux choyés et bien dans leurs sabots. Spéciale dédicace à Poupou 🐴, mon compagnon pour ce voyage, qui m’a permis de profiter pleinement de cette aventure.

Une expérience inoubliable en Géorgie que je recommande les yeux fermés !

Mai 2025 : Partager l’expédition du Désert d’Ubadno avec Audrey à été une expérience formidable! Audrey est une guide hors pair, non seulement parce qu’elle a des cheveux très sympa, qu’elle sait mettre à l’aise des cavaliers au niveau disparate, mais aussi parce qu’elle est drôle, généreuse et pleine de connaissance sur ce fascinant pays qu’est la Géorgie. On voit des choses merveilleuses (ville abandonné, monastère troglodyte aux peintures médiévales, des formations rocheuses sorties tout droit dun rêve), on galope sur des chevaux superbes, et on part avec l’envie de revenir pour faire de nouveaux souvenirs.

Allez-y et faite vous le plaisir de découvrir par vous même!!

September 2025 I just came back from 10 days Tbilisi-Tusheti with Caucasus Expeditions led by Audrey. With a group of 7 we had an unforgettable authentic time with the people from Tusheti and the horses. Audrey is a treasure of knowledge about the region, its people and their ways, and she also knows very well how to handle her horses on tricky terrain. I felt safe and challenged at all times, the trails were well chosen and balanced, the horses gentle and experienced. For this trip we stayed at local guesthouses where we were always well cared for with plenty of local fresh food and home brewed wines. Thank you for this life-time experience, Audrey!
